Pendleton, which is listed on the national register of historic places, is a distinctive small town in Southwestern Madison County. Its proximity to Anderson and the Indianapolis area has made it an increasingly attractive “bedroom” community. Three new business parks at its I-69 interchange have positioned Pendleton for significant future growth.
